Today we begin the final summer cycle: PERFORMANCE.
- clean (below knee + floor) @80% x(1+1) x4
- clean pull (2-sec pause B.Kn. 1st rep only) @80% x3, @90% x3 x3
- back squat @80% x3 x5
This cycle will last 4 weeks and be high in intensity, but low in volume. The schedule of lifting will be similar to the previous summer cycles, but now on Sundays you can expect jerk work and the return of the bench press. After the cycle we’ll deload for a week in preparation for a giant max session (July 27-28) where you will LIFT ALL THE WEIGHTS. It will be glorious and grand.
