Slow motion beauty: 

  • 3-position clean (high-hang+mid-hang+floor) x5
  • 1 ¼ front squat @70% x2 x5
  • 3x DB circuit:
    -seated press x6
    -Russian twists x20

    Now some grass fed beef, potatoes, cabbage, and a pint of Guinness.

    clean pulls 3×3 @80kg

    Big focus on not pulling with my arms, started getting it towards the later sets. Wider stance felt more comfortable when cleaning, nailed my knees a few times when I was narrower.

    1-1/4 FS were a struggle with my tricep/shoulder/lat mobility. Did some band work and smashed with a barbell and felt a lot better. FS were still pretty challenging, first time doing 1-1/4

    Clean pulls went really well. Worked on sweeping as I past my knees as well as allowing the bar to travel deeper into the hips. Need to work on lats lats lats.
