Things are still heavy. Let’s Get After It.

  • snatch — work quickly to a heavy single FTD, -10% x1 x2 (45 seconds rest between)
  • clean — work quickly to a heavy single FTD, 10% x1 x2 (45 seconds rest between)
  • front squat @80% x2 x2

Rest up, mobilize, take care of yourselves, and remember that every heavy single is for the day, not necessarily a PR attempt (that’s in 2 weeks). 1 miss and you move on to the down sets.

Now go get after it!

  1. Snatch: Worked up to 65k for 2 sets of singles. Drop sets at 55k. I seem to have fixed my arm bend finally, didn’t bend on a single rep for today’s workout. Sweeping back pretty well. Thinking about extending through the ground more, less horizontal hip displacement.

    C&J: Worked up to 80k for 2 sets of singles. Drop sets at 70k. Getting more comfortable with my start position, sweeping well. Once again need to focus on pushing through the floor as I transition into my 2nd pull. Catching position is a bit inconsistent, perhaps I’ll warm up with hangs to groove the bottom position.

    FS: Worked up to 80k for 2×2. Felt a bit restricted with shoulder/lat/t-spine mobility which made the sets a bit of a struggle.
