SATURDAY STRENGTH WORKOUT

  • High hang clean, build to a 5RM, then -10%/5×4
  • Clean deadlift, build to a 10RM, then -10%/10×4
  • Bent over row, warm up to 55%, AMRAP in 5 minutes – GET MORE REPS!
  • Pull-up (strict), AMRAP in 5 minutes (use band for assistance or do ring rows) – GET MORE REPS!

  2. Hi Hang Clean – 55, 57, 58, 52, 52 (my technique was much better than 8/14)
    Clean Grip DL – 100, 102, 104, 94, 94 (10RM +14 kg from 8/14)
    Bent Row – 61 reps at 40 (+6 reps from 8/19, +6 kg and only -2 reps from 8/14)
    Ring Row – 44 reps (no change from 8/19)

    This was a taxing day, but a great crowd in the gym made it a lot of fun. Really nice to see some friends back in the gym.

  3. Clean – 50, 54, 54, 54
    DL – 100, 110, 110, 110
    bent over row – 69 reps @ 40
    pullups – not.1.strict.pull-up.in.me. 24 reps of box self-spotting pull-ups

    This program rules! It was great seeing everyone today! You guys inspire me. I work out much harder with you vikings than alone in my garage. More, I want more!
