WEEK 3

DAY 1 (SATURDAY)

  • Snatch (power position working on getting underneath the bar), 60/3×4
  • Snatch (floor), 75/2, 83/1, 88/1×3, 93/1 if you hit 2 / 3 at 88, otherwise repeat 88
  • Snatch deadlift, 115 of snatch/2×4
  • Jerk, 68/3×3
  • Heavy side planks – 3 sets per side of 20 seconds

 

DAY 2 (SUNDAY)

  • Clean (power position working on getting low), 60/3×3
  • Clean (floor), 75/2, 83/1, 88/1×3, 93/1 if you hit 2 / 3 at 88, otherwise repeat 88
  • Back squat, 88/2×4
  • Snatch (below knee), 68/3×3
  • HEAVY Planks – 4 sets of 25 seconds

    Snatch – 41, 46, 48, 50
    Snatch DL – 63
    Jerk – 50
    Side Planks – 32 (KB)

    Still trying to adjust to pulling deep under my snatches. Missed my 3rd attempt at 48, but did it again and hit it cleanly. So I took a run at 50. Wasn’t textbook perfect but I caught it nice and low with a solid lock out. I’ll take it.

    Snatch Floor: 45kg, 50 kg, 52kg, 55 kg missed
    Snatch Deadlift: 65 kg
    Cleaned instead of Jerk: 60 kg
    Side Planks: 55 lbs kb, 4 sets @ 25 seconds
