Since many of you expressed interest in participating in a weightlifting competition (either a mock meet at our gym or an actual meet), I recommend going to watch as a spectator to get the feel for the atmosphere. This weekend is the Old Dominion Classic in Richmond. If you are interested in going to watch, please come talk to me and we can work out the details.

  • Snatch – 77% x 1 x 3
  • Clean & jerk – 72% x 1 x 3
  • Snatch pull – 95% (of snatch) x 3 x 3
  • Snatch deadlift – 103% (of snatch) x 3 x 3
  • Front squat – 78% x 3 x 5; follow each set immediately with 3 box jumps
