Straight arm strength exercises from gymnastics can be very useful in developing a good lockout.

  • Power Clean – 70% x 2 x 5
  • Power Jerk – 60% (of split jerk) x 2 x 5
  • Push Press – 70% x 3 x 3
  • 5 rounds no rest
    • 8 KB rdls
    • 20 second hollow rock hold
    • 20 second ring holds (or as long as your can)
